Beware - not the advertised size
If you chose this pan because you wanted on smaller than the usual 30" x 32" size (like me), then beware. This is not 28" x 30" as specified. Maybe the bottom is that size, but the normal way of measuring is the top outside rim to outside rim and using that, it's the normal 30 x 32 size. I'll be returning it and looking for a REAL smaller pan. I have no wiggle room in the laundry area and this one won't fit.
Note that in the "product dimensions" section it does say the real sizes. But in two other places it says it's 28 x 30.
If you don't care about the size, this pan will be fine.
It is larger than 28"x30". Can't fit in tight space.
I have a very tight space and only have 30.5" of space. With the lip of the plastic pan, it is appx 32"x30". Too large for my laundry closet.
Something you don't think you need till you need it...
The plastic is thick enough to do the job. Although I did eventually break the edge while moving the washing machine to get under it for repairs, it stands up to some abuse. I was able to easily repair the break it with a glue gun. I would buy it again. People with washing machines or water heaters not on the ground floor, best install the drain fixture that's included.
