Very useful for small spaces
I bought this fan under the Climate Keeper branding, but the manual inside the box reveals it is actually a Comfort Zone fan, and it is this model. I'm pretty happy with it so far. I live in a hot and humid climate and our a/c's compressor is struggling on its last legs with a hard starter. I spend a lot of time working on the phone in the hottest room in the house. I needed some relief. This fan keeps the temperature bearable during the day, and actually makes it cool enough to sleep at night. It fits easily inside the window sill without the feet, no need to remove the screen. The accordion side panels are cheap and don't fit very well, but the fan stays upright in the window and the rest of the window is more or less covered. This fan is not terribly weather proof, so unplug it at the first sign of rain. I made the mistake of trying to turn it off first and discovered that just a moment's exposure to water made it impossible to use the buttons on the machine. Luckily, for whatever...
Very happy
I had this window fan before, but there was a really bad rainstorm while I was at work and one of the blades quit about two months later. I live this fan though. Its the perfect size for my window. The large16" house fans don't fit and regular window fans are too small. At 9" its a great size and the blades really move the air very well and its pretty strong. Because of a fire escape gate, I have to put this fan in the same window with an air conditioned installed at the base of the window, so this fan goes at the top of the window which makes the remote control such a great option to have so that I don't need to hop on a chair to change the settings, especially when I'm sleeping at night. I love this fan.Its strong enough to pull a good amount of air throughout my 2bedroom apt.
Excellent Fan for Circulation and Cooling
There are lots of window fans available in the market. I chose this model because of its remote control and reversal functions. It has a cheaper twin model without the remote control. It runs smoothly and quietly. I bought one first and bought another one after a test run. It sucks in cool air during the evening hours and it blows out hot air as well. I highly recommend this product to whoever living in area whever there are cool evenings but warm or hot during the day time.
